Plant ID but no photo!
in Plants
I saw a plant yesterday growing in a container and I can't find out what it is from Google.
It's a foliage plant with variegated leaves. The leaves look similar to a fatsia but they're much smaller, only around 10-12cms across. They have a rubbery matte texture, not shiny, and there were no flowers. It seemed to be growing very upright and was only around 50cm tall, but the pot might have limited it.
Can anyone suggest anything that it could be please? The only thing I've found that looks vaguely similar is manihot esculenta but the leaves aren't so deeply lobed and it's a houseplant.
Thank you

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

I am stuck with "They have a rubbery texture"
If only you could get a pic it would be so easy.
Another thought..Begonia?

The leaves aren't as lobed as the astrantia. It is almost exactly like this fatsia leaf but variegated and far too small to be a fatsia, unless there's a small variety I've never seen.
