    @RubyLeaf.....at least it's good to know the rust won't migrate to other plants.  I was gutted at having to dump my plants this year, fingers crossed for this years seedlings.

    I have Hollyhocks that are well established and do get rust. This year because of the dry spell I have watered only at the base. The lower leaves have it, but the upper leaves not, they are about eight feet tall and flowering really well alongside some giant lillies
