    EBM is  good idea. I'll see if I can get some cuttings @ERICS MUM
    There's a guide clump of agapanthus  down the road so that should do well. Why didn't I think of that? @raisingirl

    Lol @B3   it's a type of salvia, lovely red colour. I used to have one in my front garden, lasted a good few years until the Beast from the East got to it. The bees loved it.
