Courgettes

I have a really healthy courgette plant in a pot with lots of courgettes developing.  A few of them seem to have gone yellow and soft at the end.  Please can somebody let me know what is happening to them as I was so pleased with the success I was having up till now.

    This sometimes happens when the flower hasn't been pollinated properly ... often at the beginning of fruiting.  Make sure the plant has plenty of water and that there are plenty of pollinating insects around ... it usually resolves itself.
