Can anyone tell me what this plant is that some friends gave us. They believe its a fruit plant

  • Can anyone tell me what this plant is that some friends gave us. They believe its a fruit plant of some kind. It looks a bit like a blackcurrant but with little tendril bits that may twine around a support hence i put a plant support next to it just in case.

    I agree with @Hostafan1 ... looks like a grapevine of one sort or another. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.





  • Do those have tendril things on them then, because that's what this looks like it has.  The person that gave it to me had grown it from cuttings they took from a plant they have that they seemed to think was a goji berry?!

    The goji leaf seems quite different. Yes, grapes have tendrils.

    Yes, they have tendrils which help them climb ... they grow into large vines.  This is mine at the moment 



    Your photo doesn't look anything like a Goji Berry as far as I can see.
