Tarry gunk in leaf axils
I have a capsid infestation on my phygelius which I am dealing with by the finger and thumb method.
Some of the leaf axils have black tarry gunk in them. Is this something to do with the capsids or is it something else?
I'm beginning to wonder if the shrub I'd worth the effort
