Harvesting Comfrey seed

It's the first time I've ever grown comfrey after buying two plants last year. I've been trying to collect seed but they seem difficult to get them before they fall to the ground. Tie paper bags over the seed pods?

    Yes, if it’s the sort that gets seeds, some don’t grow from seed.

    Hi Lyn. I've looked on youtube and most people seem to grow it from root cuttings.

    You may have the Bocking 14 strain which is sterile.  Could you find out from the place you bought it?

    Hi Josusa, I bought it from a 'herb table' at Foxton Locks in Leicestershire. Think I'll try root cuttings. The bees love it  :)
