    Looks a lot like our trumpet vine/Campsis a couple of months ago before it went berserk and turned triffid......   Likes the sun and heat.
    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    Yes, pretty sure that is a trumpet vine. I had one growing up the side of an old 2 storey Victorian house that grew behind the chimney and into the eaves. Very vigorous - keep your eye on it.
