I can’t post or even see Phillips garden thread, his photos are much too big.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • I reduced the size of images from 2048x1536 to 800x600,..the first size is what i use on other Garden Forums without any problem?,..having said that i can see the images myself,.. with a Broadband of 2.4G,..images are reduced in size automatically in this Forum to a size permitted,..anything over that will not be allowed to be accepted on upload.

As mentioned before, a maximum picture size of 1mb will enable more people to see your pictures. This forum is not set up like other forum and a sizeable number of the regular users are not able to see any of the picture threads, which is a great shame.

I use a website called Postimage to host my photos. It's really simple to use, just upload a photo or group of photos at full size and ask it to resize for you (it suggest the size for forums as 640x480) then copy the links and paste into the image tab where it says "image URL".
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • @Fire ,..i did reduce image size to 800x600 which is the lowest i can reduce to as i need that size for other posts elsewhere plus Photostories,..below is an adjusted one to 800x600.

@wild edges ,..i reduce all my images by way of Faststone Image Adjuster,..plus my image viewer is Faststone Image Viewer,..both are Freeware.
