New to the forum - Help identifying variety of my two apple trees

Hi, I was wondering if I could trouble anyone here for some help.

I have two small apples tree's in the garden. They seem to be slightly different in variety.

One yielding smaller red fruits and one that produced fruit that look almost like smaller  Granny Smith. Green with white flecks?

I've tried apps to ID them but not had any success. Could someone here help at all?

    Hi :)

    They're very immature and it won't be possible to ID them at this stage ... even then, a good ID from a photograph is unlikely.

    In the autumn most parts of the country will have an Apple Day where you can take your apples for identification https://ptes.org/campaigns/traditional-orchard-project/fruit-varieties/fruit-variety-identification/

    Hi, thanks for responding. Much appreciated.

    If you roll over the image, there are scroll arrows to cycle through the available photos.

    As you both mentioned, it's very early. Sounds like I'll need to wait until Autumn & find out a little more about the Apple days in and around Bristol.

    Your best bet is to wait until both trees have mature apples on them then take a couple of each along to a local apple day. Most areas have an apple expert on hand who can help you. To find a local apple day, held in the autumn, check your local paper or garden club or even allotment holders.

    There are thousands and thousands of apple varieites.
