I have 2 Hydrangeas in pots that I would like to put into the ground.  Can anyone advise when is the best time of year to do this please.

I recommend late autumn time. It's too hot and dry to attempt it now. You will still need to water it after planting into early winter time to help it establish.

Are you aware that the flower colour may change, depending on your soil chemistry?

Sorry Josusa47 I should have said I have checked this out & I have others that have kept their colour as I use the colourant.
