Afternoon all. I sowed a lot of white hesperis in pots this year and they now have a good lot of healthy looking plants. As biennials, when is the best time to plant them into the garden? I'm imagining the autumn, when the rains have (hopefully) returned.

They are easier to keep watered in pots.
I’ve got gro bag trays with water in so I can rotate my pots.
I sowed hesperis on 10 July last year and planted them out in autumn.
They were quite small plants at that time.
This Spring they grew very quickly into huge plants. Sadly we had strong winds not long after they came into flower (on 12 May) and most of the stems snapped, so I oiked them out on 5 June when they were still in full flower
I left one to see how long it would flower for, and that went on to 20 June
2 Hesperis- (and some forget-me-nots)
