hi my redhot pokers have flowered and shed their foliage should I cut back the stems or leave them alone???????

I would just remove the expired flower stems , but not the foliage (yet) .

Are you meant to cut back foliage? I left mine last year after the first year Having them

I normally cut the foliage to ground level in late Autumn ; it normally turns to mush anyway .
