Collected seeds but not sure what to do with them!
Hello helpful gardeners!
I was in my parents garden today and noticed quite a few plants that had gone to seed. Not being able to resist free plants I collected dried poppy heads, some Shasta daisies, foxgloves and some perennial salvias (east friesland and blue hills - these were very reduced in the garden centre and had already gone to seed). All the seeds have been easily shaken from seed heads/pods so hoping some will be viable. The poppies I assume are best sown outdoors in autumn and the foxgloves any time from now but I have absolutely no idea how to go about sowing the daisies or salvias - indoors/outdoors (I have an unheated greenhouse) whether to direct sow or in modules and most importantly when to do it.
Any help would be great. Thanks!
