Hi anybody know what has happened to these Tree lilllies, the flower buds have taken a weird shape and instead of the usual 5 or 6 flowers per bulb there are more of these smaller type.....the bulbs have been in the same pots for about 4 years now and never a problem before.

Have you renewed and refreshed the soil they're in and kept them well watered? If they've been in pots long term, without additional nutrition, that will affect them - as with any plant. I'd think with the long, hot dry spell, they could be thirsty. That can casue issues with many plants.
I'm sure someone who grows them will be able to help further [and better!] if I'm way off the mark
