Any bird feeders nearby ... some seed mixes contain hemp seed ... we grew a lovely large hemp plant under the feeders at my place of work (Social Services lol)  .

It's usually the 'agricultural' variety ... not the more interesting sort.

I did once know a jobbing gardener who tended the gardens of the elderly and less mobile residents of a small town ... aparently he grew one 'plant' in each of several elderly folks' gardens ... they didn't notice and he didn't get into trouble ...  unfortunately for him one resident's daughter recognised his plant and pulled it up and put it in the green waste bin ... next visit he asked my mother if she'd been doing any gardening ... she replied, 'No, but my daughter has.'  ;)

It would seem like a really interesting plant to grow. Why not keep it in and see what happens?
