I don't know what happened

SonnieBSonnieB Posts: 124
A few weeks ago my blackberry plant tree produced flowers for the the first time which eventually starting turning into fruit. I was so chuffed. However it now looks in a sorry state

Does anyone have any ideas as to what happened to it.

too dry or fried in the sun maybe. This weather is hard on plants especially potted ones

If you put it somewhere shady and water it regularly the plant will probably survive, even if you may not get much fruit this year now. They are big plants to keep in a pot though - can you put it in the ground in the autumn?

Yeah, I agree.  Not enough water.   Especially when it's in a pot.  It can't put roots down to find wet soil.
