Identify caterpillar and larvae

    Thanks Bij, just had a look and that seems correct as apparently they feed on carnations and this flower is dianthus which is apparently a type of carnation! Oh well they've eaten pretty much every flower now so hopefully they'll go away now. Thanks for your help also.

    It's certainly showing the same feeding habits as the Lychnis.
    Thanks both think that's it, I'm thinking I'll just prune all the dead flower heads off and I'll get some more flowers come out - does this sound like a good idea to you?
