    Yes that's one,lucky you! When I lived in Brittany we saw several in the garden attracted on to the Verbena,they flutter by so slowly you can get a really good look,I've stuffed this garden with Verbenas too,I live in hope!

    The swallowtail has a lovely caterpillar, I think!

    You’re welcome, the Scarce Swallowtails are very pretty, but numerous here, so we’re used to seeing them on a daily basis, but I haven’t seen another Swallowtail since that first one. OH was thrilled to spot a Bullfinch this morning, the first for here as we are at the very limit of its range, but I believe they are quite common in the UK so probably nothing to remark upon there!

    I have no bullfinches, its only this year that greenfinches have come to the garden. Still only white butterflies
