Aquaponic system indoor

Hi. Aquaponic system is a self sufficient system where you can both grow plants and have fishes. Have you ever heard about it? I would like to create one on my own and have it indoor. I have got an aquarium, not so big, that I can use to do it. I will post here my effects! Have you ever tried to create an aquaponic system?

    big and noisy ( pumps , filters etc ) is my guess, oh, and expensive.
