Fruit Trees Now??

Hi everyone. I wanted to plant cherry trees in my garden now, but I am not sure if it is a good idea. Isn't it too late for it? I want them to grow properly so won't weather conditions prevent it to do it? What about other fruit trees? When it is the best time to plant them?

i agree with pansyface, don't plant now, you plant in early autumn, that way the roots can do a little growing before winter hits and there's plenty of water around to help it settle in

@Beth-rowe ... the question was posted in June! Your reply will be misleading... that’s one of the problems with trawling up old threads in order to promote your app
