Alliums post flowering

Hi. Have grown some aliums for first time this year; the first ones to flower were in spring and now finished. Should the stems and heads just be left till much later ; the heads are nice in their own right. Thanks.

    Yes - you can leave the heads on. They are nice as they dry off.
    You can leave them to die back completely, or cut them off, later on in the year - whichever you prefer    :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Feed them with fertiliser high in potash once a week after they have flowered, till the leaves turn yellow.  Good for next year then.  Oh and a spring feed, bonemeal or the like.
