The plants I listed should be able to cope with drier soils as well as moisture too. To extend the interest, I think you could try Viola Odorata for the early spring.
Online nurseries are out of stock of lots of things at the moment - but it's not really a great time of year for planting anyway (particularly in this prolonged dry spell). They'll probably have more stock in the Autumn, if you don't find any locally and can't beg some pieces from a friend or neighbour.
