I wish my Arabella looked as good! I can't do photos, but I inherited a very very dark burgundy montana, almost black, and I can't find anything like it on Google,to give it a name,it's just small, some with just four petals.
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
The first flowers arrived a couple of days ago. It was a skinny little twig in a small pot when we moved here,I recognised it was a clem,so dug a nice deep hole near a south facing wall, gave it bone meal and lots of water. It's very delicately leafed which made me think it was going to be a Montana.

Think it must be Viticella, anyway that's the dark colour it is,the leaves are very frondy!
