    As the others have said Dave - prune them back hard, keep feeding/watering as you've been doing - and then enjoy  :)
    Niobe is slightly bigger and a different shape - my favourite thing in the garden at this time of year 

    If you like that sort of colour - the slightly later Rouge Cardinal is quite similar. Lovely plant. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
