Pollenless ones don't though. I think they're designed to be better show or cut flowers but not my kind of thing really.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Some plants are highly cultivated to produce more flowers or bigger / fuller varieties. Often their reproductive organs are turned into petals or the organs are obscured by the fullness of the flower.

Imagine living the kind of life where pollen on your tablecloth is a problem. *shudder* :#

Reminds me of when I bought my wedding dress, many moons ago.  While I was 'modelling' it in the shop I accidentally brushed off the vase of lillies on a table, much to everyone's horror the pollen stained the beautiful dress. The shop assistants were appalled and said they should have known better than to have a display of lillies due to the amount of pollen they have and how transferable it is. Anyway...........we decided to buy the dress,  (my mum's friend whispered in my ear and assured us she could remove the stain, which she did)........and I got a great discount as the dress was 'damaged'.

Little birds love the seeds 🌻

  • If you can, put a pond in your garden.

My back garden is not large by any means (~14mx~6m), but I found room and it's the best work I have undertaken to encourage in wildlife.

You might consider a container pond ?
