Phormium discolouration

KeenOnGreenKeenOnGreen Posts: 1,831
Some of the leaves on our Phormium Evening Glow are a bit washed-out.  Is this normal, or due to over/under watering?  I give them a liquid feed once a week.  They are in pots, and I try to keep watering fairly minimal, other than in the current heatwave.

You can always cut off any discoloured leaves ; this is possibly due to this current hideous 'heatwave' . Akin to sunburn .
Phormiums are greedy plants , and respond well to copious watering .

On the whole though , your plant looks pretty good to me .
