Inserting YouTube videos in a post?

What is the procedure for inserting a YouTube video in a post?
Some time ago I just plonked the YouTube link to a video of mine in a discussion, and the video was inserted.

Just today I did the same (as far as I can remember), plonked the YouTube link in my post, but it remains as a clickable link.

@NoraGW , what do you think?

    Answering my own question. In order to have the video inserted inside your post, you must NOT copy/paste the YouTube link as a link, but as plain text. When you Post your post, the YouTube link will automatically display the video.

    As an illustration, here's a link to my recent "open garden" video.

    Yes, just copy and paste the webpage address. Don't use the link button.
