Please help identify this plant.

Hi all,
Been looking at some properties this weekend and one of them had some sort of climber/crawler coming through the walls. The gardent was very overgrown and this plant was everywhere. If anyone could help me identify this plant and a way to get rid of it I would be very grateful. Thank you.

It looks like bindweed. There must be some huge cracks in that house!
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Hello Ktg

Looks like Bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis) ; a difficult but not impossible weed to control .

I have had this in my perennial border for many years ; I just keep pulling it out wherever it appears .
It is not impervious to selective weedkillers , but this can be awkward when it entangles garden plants .

  • Oh thanks so much! I did wonder if it was that. That's the strange thing it didn't have any obvious cracks! Couldnt seem to locate the source. Thanks again.
  • Thank you Paul! I will ckeck that link out!
