Watering raised border

    If Im trying to use a sprinkler on a border to reach the back I stick a spade in (not with a t-shaped handle) and feed the sprinker through the hole in the handle. The weight of the hose pulls it back and it wedges in there. Bit tricky to explain but if you try it you should see what I mean. Then you can just move the spade along to the next spot. As had been said though a soaker hose would be a much more efficient and effective use of the water

    Thanks jf, I don't think I'd have enough control as the border is only about 1m wide, but I might try it!
