Query regarding apple tree issue

Could anyone help with the infestation (?) in the apple tree please. The 'red devil' was planted last year and has not grown much. Lots of flower came this seasn two months ago (like last year) but only few is becoming fruit. Noticed this infestation, like last year, on the under aspect of leaves, causing some leaves to die and others to shrink. Some of the areas also have ants around the infestation.

    If you want to help get rid of blackfly try spraying with a very dilute washing up liquid or jet spraying, but not near apples. Next year you might like to do as I did this year and hand pollinate if the tree is small enough.

    Will try to use dilute washing up liquid and also hand pollinate.
