    Thanks fidgetbones. A quick read is saying it likes acid soil?

    Definitely camellia and it does like acidic soil, although in my experience once established in a large hole with plenty of ericaceous compost added they will settel-in and grow in London clay.

    Thanks for the advice.  I'm not sure what would be best.  Remove now and pot in erecatious soil or leave it until after flowering? It was here when I moved in 2 years ago. I don't remember it flowering plus it's in full sun? It's in alkaline soil 7.5ph.
