Has anyone bought plug plants on Amazon?  Just wondering about the quality.  Thanks

variable I should think depending on where they come from. Amazon don't grow plants and will buy where they think they can make a profit.

I did buy 6 purple sprouting broccoli that arrived with 2 yellowing leaves each plus the odd dead leaf. I was told they would be fine but I wasnt so sure and asked my money back which was refunded  Months later and we were eating broccoli for quite a while!
I have had plug plants from all the big names and none arrived in peak condition but do pick up. If you aren't happy complain.

I read the feedback from others who have bought from the supplier.
No good feedback = no purchase for me

I dont think they would come direct from amazon warehouse but from a supplier they are affiliated with. I dont think it would be any different from any other mail order plant supplier. It all depends on how good the suppliers are. Like Pete said, if there is no good feedback then i wouldnt buy.

It is basically independent retailers selling via amazon, so it very much depends on who you buy from, I’ve hd very good and very bad. Read the reviews for the particular seller is the safest way

Yes, Amazon don't sell many plants directly.

You can find great suppliers if you look hard and read the reviews. Ebay is a better way forward, as the sellers get a much bigger cut of payment than with Amazon (which is a company I avoid, re their ethics). With both Amazon and Ebay, you can get your money back, without quibble, if they arrive in a state not as given in the description. As with any other item you buy.

A lot of independent nurseries and other growers now sell through Ebay. I have bought some tremendous plants this year from Jane at Norfolk Cottage Garden. She is very knowledgable and we have had long email chats about how I can best to tend to her plants. Lovely lady. Very healthy, robust plants.

As ever, it's all about research.

I’ve bought a pack of 12 different shrubs which were all super quality only £20.00 including postage.
This year I bought a pack of 170 posti plugs of petunias, very good condition, although I probably won’t again as I usually grow from seed.
    never bought veg plants.
Amazon are good about refunds so anything you’re not happy with can usually be rectified.
