What's wrong with my strawberries?

Sorry, once I put the photo in I couldn't seem to add any text. Anyway you can see the problems - holes in leaves, yellowing leaves, some leaves brown and crinkly, fruits small and bit wizened looking. Plus the plants haven't grown much in the 5weeks they've been in. Should I dig them up and start again?

Slugs and snails eat the leaves - and the fruits - so that's the reason for the holes.
Leaves do get old and worn, so just remove those every so often.
Is the ground very wet? Strawbs do well in good, well drained soil, so perhaps your soil is too wet and heavy. I'd keep the straw away from the main stems too, as it can get wet and be sitting against those stems.  I grow mine in pots because of the soil -it makes it easier.
Have you fed them? They need a bit of a kick to get going.  Some fruits don't grow and mature well, and in this dry weather they can get a bit mildewed. I removed quite a few from my plants yesterday as they won't develop.
Every few years, it helps to renew stock by taking the runners and growing them on.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
