Separating rose cuttings

Pamela-8Pamela-8 Posts: 9
hello, I have two rose cuttings that are sitting in a pot together. They are doing very well and could do with separating into different pots. Is it safe to do this in the summer or should I wait til winter tine when they are dormant?

You can do that now, so long as it's carefully separated and the roots are not disturbed.

Only since this winter. It was an experiment which amazingly seems to be working. Even have a few flowers developing.

May leave them a little longer then. Thank you.

It would be best to remove the flowers (hard, I know!),  so that they concentrate on good root and stem development.
If the pot is small, you could perhaps just gently pot them on to a larger one without disturbing their roots, so they have more room to grow.
