  • I moved from a state that was mole free into mole hell.  My yard is full of landmines that it or they have dug and my weak old lady ankles aren't loving the walk across the yard.  My neighbor stuffs the smelliest fabric softener sheets into the mole holes in his yard and says it works but I did it and found dryer sheets all over my yard.  I've tried smoking mole bombs and found those thrown out of the holes as well.  This year I decided to go with using nature against them and picked up piles of deer droppings and shoved them down the holes.  Things were quiet for about a week but I came out to piles of dirt once again.  Oh well, it made me happy thinking of the moles having to dig through all of that poop to get some fresh air.
