What are these large leaves?

Can anyone tell me what these large leaves might be that have appeared in my border. It might have come in from the plants I was given so I don't know what it is.  Could it be a foxglove?? They are quite large and feel soft to touch with what looks like tiny hairs on the leaves.

    I was thinking verbascum olympicum.
    Might well be wrong.

I think the verbascum is more likely but probably this one - https://www.rhs.org.uk/Plants/18807/Verbascum-thapsus/Details - given the silvery hue to the foliage.

Verbascum for me as well. It should flower this year judging by the size of the leaves.

If it's a verbascum, where has it come from? Could seeds have been dropped by birds?. I checked with my mum who gave me the other plants and she thinks it might be a foxglove as she had some in the garden but no verbascums. I guess I'll just have to wait until they flower to see who's right. Oh well, either way it'll be nice!
