I also noted on the programme that Monty doesn't seem to know the difference between flowers and bracts ( Cornus Kousa China Girl ) I'm sure Carol Klein VMH would not have made that mistake.

I once ate some annual mercury by mistake, and it was very tasty, but 20 minutes later, my lunch and I parted company. Thankfully, that was the end of it.

I made a lot of elderflower cordial with what I thought was elderberries. On going back later I could clearly see they were not elder trees. I have no idea what they were. Nobody died (as far as I know).
