    I also noted on the programme that Monty doesn't seem to know the difference between flowers and bracts ( Cornus Kousa China Girl )
    I'm sure Carol Klein VMH would not have made that mistake. ;)

    I once ate some daffodil flowers because I was dared by a man in a pub who said his name was Keef the Thief and he was going to prison next week. In my defence I was a bit tiddly at the time but I hoofed it all up later so no hangover. Every cloud......

    I made a lot of elderflower cordial with what I thought was elderberries. On going back later I could clearly see they were not elder trees. I have no idea what they were. Nobody died (as far as I know).

    Did you check the local paper? They might still be look for yo - you know how short staffed the police are these days.
