    Crocosmia?
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

I would vote for Crocosmia BtheG but I'd be more bothered about the stickyweed? Sorry Galium something, nightmare.

So that's what that is. Stickyweed, I'm constantly pulling up little ones .

It gets in my 'shrubbery' Burtsnest and winds everywhere, very tenuous connection to spreading fibrous roots so hard to pull up, has to be dug out and then I carefully inspect my trousers for the little sticky balls. You may have gathered I'm not keen on it   :/

Me neither herbaceous. Many a day including this morning I resemble a contortionst trying to climb into nooks and crannies trying to get it. At least I know what it is now thanks.

My pleasure Burtsnest, not sure knowing what it is makes it any less annoying though  ;)
