I've collected seeds from the snake's head fritillaries growing around our pond (bought as bulbs last year). Can I sow them in seed trays as I would normally and grow more plants for the future?

Hi Karen. You can, but bear in mind it will be several years before you get any flowers.

Hah! I thought as much. As we leave the pond area pretty wild, I might try an experiment - sow a few in a small tray just for the hell of it, water and leave in my growing area to see what develops, the rest I think I'll just disperse around the general pond area and see what nature does.
    Thanks for coming back X

You're very welcome Karen and they will like the damp pond margins.
