Are these pests?

I found clusters of these teeny tiny black critters under my nasturtium leaves. There were a few ants and also a couple of ladybirds there too but was wondering if these are black fly, aphids or the like that need squashing or something more exciting to watch?? I know it's tricky to see but they are definitely moving about so obviously not hatched long.

They are black fly. They love Nasturtiums.  The lady birds may eat them.

Promptly squashed them, but I am hoping the ladybirds might eat them still if they're squashed. Bye bye blackfly!!!! Horrid things I seem to have a lot of pests this year. Every time I water the garden I find more bugs that need squashing or blasting off with the hose. Is it just my bad luck or is it a big problem with others out there too??

Thanks Fire that does actually help me feel better and that it's not just me they're attacking!!! 😬

Circle of life and all that. I'm trying to get away from the eternal anthropocentric world view. On seeing plants demolished by slugs it doesn't always work, but I try.
