It is pretty and I wouldn't mind if it wasn't so rampant .. it is literally all over my garden and seems to appear like magic overnight ..I'd assumed it was a weed but was interested to know exactly what it was called. I live next to an old railway cutting and my neighbours garden is left to run wild so I guess I'll be pulling it up for many years to come
It is very rampant ... I think there are few 'normal' sized gardens that can cope with it as it swamps other plants. When removing it you need to ensure you get out the whole tuber which can be quite large.
