    Seen lots of them in their native habitat [ and Sheffield Botanical Gardens ], and I like them.

    I think it could be  :) I'm not doing it justice I suspect, having looked it up, now that I know what it is. I will find it a better place and take better care of it. To be honest, it's a bit surprising that it made it through last winter - I didn't mulch or protect it at all and it seems to be only marginally hardy for the UK. 

    I have a few of these plants from Mum's garden that I managed to bring in the van when I sold her house after Dad died. I started with the ones that looked almost dead and am just getting round to the ones that looked to be doing OK, or at least surviving.
