Can anyone identify this tree?

it self seeded in my garden border about 3 years ago. It Is multi stemmed and I first thought it was a shrub but now it’s grown to about 15-20 feet in this time. Last year for first time I noticed little bottlebrush type flowers or seeds on it which are not there at the moment. Can you tell from these pictures? Any ideas much appreciated.

It looks very much like a goat willow. These turn up everywhere - in compost they are quite common. I just get rid of them as soon as they germinate as they do tend to be a bit of a nuisance but if you like yours then just watch out for seedlings and keep the parent tree.

Thank you I have been trying to identify it for a couple of years now and did find that it matched a goat willow but was never sure. But not seen any other seedlings coming up but will watch out as I don’t want another as it has got tall and cuts out light. I can handle one but no more, so Thankyou for your response.
