Identify this succulent please

could someone please help identify this succulent clipping please. It’s from a plant in an old mansion I worked in. It hadn’t been watered for 2 years+ ! I tried reviving the whole plant but to no avail. I managed to get these clippings. What are they? Many thanks

It looks like a very dry crassula ovata also known as the jade or money plant. Even dry like that they need well drained soil and shouldn't be over watered. Keep it in a bright but not sunny place until it has rooted and once established, as you've seen, it's a pretty bomb-proof plant.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I’ll be honest I’ve had these cuttings in this glass for 3-5 months now. I did think it was the jade. Thank you

After 5 months they should be doing a lot better than that I'm afraid. New cuttings will root quite well in a glass of water even with no soil but they need to be transferred into soil once the roots are established. Those cutting look like they need some TLC though.

Thank you. I’ve transferred into separate small pots now. As there was some very small roots sprouting. Just hope they take.
