Help identifying two plants.

Hello

Last year I moved house and took a few pots of plants, whatever was in one pot died so I used that soil for other plants and find three "seed potatoes" or so I thought turns out they are not potatoes plants after all and need help to identify what they are.

And the second plant is some kind of tree I think, I was hoping it was a Cherry tree since it was under a big Cherry tree when it started dropping it's cherry's last year, but it could just be a seed dropped by some random bird and may need to re-pot all the plants in that pot since the plastic has become brittle.

Any-how thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for your post. The top one could be cuckoo pint, but it's a bit late in the year for them to come up, I would have thought. The bottom one is an ash sapling. It would ditch it. They self-seed everywhere.

Well the bulbs looked like potatoes that had started sprouting, I was thinking they were "Swifts" when I plated them, could be a cuckoo pint but I don't remember buying any, I did plant some dahlia, gladioli, red hot pokers and lily bulbs a few years ago, not sure if that's any help identifying it.

I'll re-pot the ash sapling and plant it later, looking to buy some land so this could come in handy later.

    Thank you for the help.

I'd say the first looks like cannas
    Devon.

I agree with Hosta. The first one looks like canna foliage.
You'll need to get it into a decent pot of rich soil, and look after it if it is.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
