Mint suffering

Is it just dehydration or is something else going on here?

    Something's eating it.pinch the distorted shoots off and you should get some new shoots growing.

    Something is munching on it.  Cut it back, and it will send up plenty of new growth.

    Hmm.  I’ve got it raised in an old chimenea off the ground, though it would be safe on the patio.

    Will investigate...!

    Okay.  Looks like there are lots and lots of little black dots at various points on it.  They don’t seem to be moving, even if I scrape them off with a blade.


  • mint grows like a weed and is rated as one where I live , cut off all the munched parts, and then some , it will soon come back , I agree with Freddies Dad, better grown in a pot or it's weed like nature will soon be felt , Hard to get rid of once established too 
    Grow it yourself, it's worth it in the end. . .
