Cuckoo spit

I know it's some creature doing this,but the leaves are being eaten and some have gone yellow,what's the best thing to spray with?

    Just a jet of water or brush it of with your hand

    Froghoppers suck sap rather than eat leaves and the damage they do is fairly minimal. Your culprit might lie elsewhere.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
