They don't need shelter from the rain. What they do need, as others have said, is a gritty compost and put somewhere sheltered and shady outside - in the UK. If you are not in the UK then please tell us where so we can advise. Absolutely no need for greenhouse, growing lights, bottom heat etc etc.

Yes in the UK. My mini greenhouse is, as I've said, on the south wall and is sheltered for the most part from the wind, but not the sun. They may be OK on the bottom shelf perhaps, I don't know. Otherwise can always put them on the ground flush with a wall that may shield them from the sun, literally in front of the mini greenhouse (narrow passageway).
