Plants drooping a few days after planting

    Thanks for the tips. I have chopped off the buds and 3" off both asters and salvias now. Keeping my fingers crossed for stronger plants and more flowers later.  :)

    I'm sure they'll be fine.
    Do remember to put a plant label close to them as the plant will disappear over winter and not appear again until spring.
    It's easy to forget where they are and if you plant something else there when the plants have died back, you'll know where your other plants are and avoid digging them up - as I often do...

    They look fine. They're just settling in and all the growth will be going on underground. Next year they'll look fantastic.
